Soen is the son of Elijah Goldwater, and so a lot of weight rests on his shoulders. Elijah’s reputation is as high as Armaros Goldwater’s, and Soen feels that pressure immensely. Though he tries to follow in his ancestors’ footsteps, he struggles to make the right decisions. Instilled with the Essence of Ambition, it mostly has a negative affect on him. Petrified of history repeating himself, Soen renounces the Celestials and their way of Life, shrouding the Above World away from the rest of existence. Forbidding his community to discuss the truth of their past, some beings decide to leave and live in the wilderness. Lornada Wyvernstar is his Soulmate, and together they have two sons, Drann and Ranake, whom were brought up without the knowledge of a large portion of their past.
